
Refrain from physical contact with athletes except where necessary for the development of the athletes’ skill(s) or athletic ability. Respect the rights and worth of every person, including opponents, other coaches, officials, administrators, parents, and spectators. Display control and professionalism at all times under any circumstance. Demonstrate respect for the ability of opponents as well as for the judgment of referees, officials and opposing coaches. At all times, act to protect the principles of fun, safety and development of all athletes. Conduct myself in a dignified manner relating to emotions, language, attitude and actions. Coaches cannot submit one registration form on behalf of the team. Players need to specify the coach when registering so MCR can ensure the team is formed correctly. MCR reserves the right to add players to rosters with less than 10 players. Coaches must submit a roster consisting of no more than 10 players.
After teams have been formed, coaches will contact the player to confirm the location and time for practices.Placement of individuals is contingent on sufficient registrations to form a team and the recruitment of a volunteer coach.Individuals will be assigned to teams as space allows.
Scrimmages are played on Saturdays at Recreation Center or MCPS school gyms.One hour each Saturday in January at a gym selected by the team coach.
