I've tried using different versions of optifine and of forge, and even tried installing optifine like you normally would for vanilla - it tells me that it can't find an instance of 1.12 to install on. Yet every time I go to boot the game up, it crashes a few seconds after loading. I wanted to add optifine into the mix alongside pixelmon, so I went and downloaded the f5 version for 1.12.2, dropping it straight into the mods folder like so many tutorials say to do. I've been struggling with an issue with the twitch launcher for the last few days that I've tried to solve on my own, to no avail.
